GVTL 2026 Season Fun Day – Men’s 7.5

Year-End Tennis and Lunch Party

Up to 20 players can participate (maybe more)
- We can add non-roster players to reach the total as needed
- Sign up with the link below at least three days before the event
We will play 3 sets, each with a different partner
- No-ad scoring will be used so nobody drops dead
- Tiebreaker at 5-5, each set is a maximum of 6 games won
Teams will be made by random draw, with 4.0 players spread out on different teams
FTC and NSB players will possibly be mixed together, based on the luck of the draw
Total games won will determine the Top 10 winners (maximum games won = 18)
- Coin flip (or racquet spin) will be used to break ties as needed to split Top 10 from Bottom 10 (this is related to the lunch plan as shown below)
  - If the total number of players is other than 20, then we’ll split the top from the bottom in the middle

Ford’s Garage
1495 Cornerstone Blvd, Daytona Beach
- Just north of Tanger Outlet, south of LPGA, behind Miller’s Ale House
- We’ll be in the smaller room (seats 65) to the left when you walk in the door
Reservations at 12:30, expecting the tennis to wrap up at about 11:45-noon
Dutch treat for your entrees and beverages. Most entrees are $14-25.
Losers buy desserts for one of the winners (Bottom 10 buys dessert for the Top 10)
- About $10 including tax and tip, so that’s the extra cost of being a loser.
- If you are coming for tennis only, bring $10 with you in case you’re a loser! You can’t get off the hook that easily.
